What is The Big Lebowski™ Pinball?
Obviously you're not a golfer.

Is it a real pinball machine, not a video game?
Yes, The Big Lebowski™ Pinball is a real pinball machine, no video game.

Will there be original movie clips and movie quotes in the game?

What parts will be used?
We will use industry standard parts with proven technology as much as possible to make it as easy as possible to obtain spare parts.

Where will The Big Lebowski™ Pinball be manufactured?
The Big Lebowski™ Pinball will be manufactured at our facility located in The Netherlands.

How can I get this great pin?
The pre-ordering period ended on March 31, 2015. But you can buy a The Big Lebowski™ pinball soon through one of our preferred dealers. Well soon... you know. There's a lotta ins, a lotta outs... We expect to have more info about this in Q3 2015

When do we play?
The first games will be shipped in Q3 2015.

I live in Wolf Lick, Kentucky. Do I have to pay for shipping from The Netherlands?
First, sorry to hear that, and second, no, for customers located in the United States and Canada, we will ship from our warehouse in the USA

I live in the United States. Do I have to pay an import tariff from The Netherlands?
No, there is no import tariff as your TBL machine will ship out of our American warehouse.

Will The Big Lebowski™ Pinball have a parental controls/adult mode?
Yes, and if you have kids, you’ll be glad it does!

Will it be a retheme, like the Bride of Pinbot 2.0?
No, The Big Lebowski™ Pinball will be a completely new pinball machine.

Do you have the official license from Universal?
Yes. We have the Worldwide exclusive license for producing The Big Lebowski™ Pinball. Read the official press release here.

Will Dutch Pinball develop more pinball machines in the future?
Oh yes! We first want to focus our collective talents on The Big Lebowski™ Pinball, but you can look forward to some more outstanding pins in the near future. After all, we didn’t invest in a new production line for just one theme.

Do you guys work on Shabbas?
Only if it's a matter of life and death.

We at Dutch pinball would like to update you on all the cool stuff we've been working on since our last NSN in order to get your Big Lebowski™ pinball on the production line with the upmost speed. A lot of the work and progress in these last weeks have been, however, fairly boring visually, with you know, a lotta ins, a lotta outs, a lotta what-have-yous... We'd love to show you some cool pictures of the progress, but at the moment that would involve showing you lots of pieces of paper and emails connected with ordering materials and parts to build your machine!
But for those of you hungry for some visual delights, check out these photos of pre-production planning and engineering:
Full machine view in SolidWorks
Circuit design and PCB panelization of the TBL boards
Our custom 4-way Digital Class-D Amplifier (bottom view, click here to see the top view
The first playfield with final approved artwork!
In addition to the above, we also want to let you know that the following has happened since the last NSN:
Tests on the rugtoy have been concluded and we now have a truely amazing rug that will really tie the playfield together.
With the help of Cointaker we showed one of our prototypes on the Texas Pinball Festival.
We played for hours on our prototypes and solved various issues.
Orders for the parts have been placed, and when we have the bits we can delight you even more with photos of lots of boxes.
Engineering has been finished.
Cabinets are being produced by our sub-supplier and should be with us soon.
The artwork of the playfield has been finalized and it looks awesome!
And... we soon will send you your "Achiever Edition" True Serial Number™."
